CHAMAN: A remote-controlled bomb was detonated as a vehicle of the law enforcement agency (LEA) was passing-by, killing a bystander in Border town.
Police sources said that unknown men planted an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) on Boghra road and detonated it with a remote control when an official vehicle was passing through the area. As a result of explosion, one person suffered critical wounds and later succumbed to his injuries and died.
The law enforcement personnel have sealed the entire area and launched search operations to find the suspects. Further probe was underway.
